#2 Search Engine – Yahoo Search Marketing
Yahoo has got 21% of market share in the US when it comes to the top 3 search engine. Therefore, you are LEAVING alot of money on the table if you ain’t using Yahoo Search Marketing in your PPC campaigns.
This was said by Gauher Chaudhry in PayPerClickFormula2.0 Live Seminar and at first i thought nothing about Yahoo. The fact that their interface sucks big time because it takes forever to load simply turns me away from using Yahoo.
However, it was not until when Adwords release its 7.5.1 version that i started to use Yahoo Search Marketing. The reason being that my laptop was unable to open Adwords Editor due to some security prevention data shit for one week and i was unable to do anything on Google. Sometimes you just get too used to using Adwords Editor that you simply hate the online interface.. ha
It was then i started to look into Yahoo Search Marketing and deciding to give it a try. Things have changed since i lasted used Yahoo for more then a year but no doubt their interface still sucks and loads damn slowly.. I created a campaign when just about 30 higher traffic keywords and this are the stats i got:
I got more then 3000 clicks in just one week and that’s just from 30 keywords… My CTR ain’t that fantastic though but the conversion simply rocks.Therefore, just from this experiment, i’m definitely gonna put in more effort in testing Yahoo now.
So i urge everyone who aint using Yahoo Search Marketing now to start looking into it and make some profit from Yahoo!
By the way.. Yahoo Quality Score is easy to counter and you can get your ads up and running with some easy work. Yahoo is like Google 5 years ago so use it!

GSS aka Great SpeedPPC Sale
Its currently GSS in Singapore which stands for Great Singapore Sale and its the time of the year where almost every store is giving discounts for their products and services and you can really get a good bargain during this period of time in Singapore. Its kinda similiar to the Black Friday in the US, but not so crazy… 
This period of time also marks the end of Australia’s financial year and SpeedPPC is having a Great SpeedPPC Sale for only 3 days and 1 day have already passed at the time of this blog post. For only 3 days, SpeedPPC is going to be selling at 40% cheaper then the normal price. This equates to $298.20 from its usual $498 price. - People who are just TRYING out PPC affiliate marketing. Seriously… if you are just trying out PPC, then please do not waste your money and buy a tool which you would just TRY to make it work… It will not work if you are just trying so please save your money.
- People who will not take action. Without action, even the best software can’t help you to make money if you don’t even use it. if you are those people who will never take action no matter what… Please save your money too.
No offense to anyone but i just want you to qualify yourself first before forking out that $300 to get a software that might not even be useful to you.. Below are the people whom i will recommend you to get SpeedPPC immediately if you are still hestitating.
- People who are actively setting up campaigns and either using the Excel Spreadsheet style or using the online interface. You need to use SpeedPPC because it will speed up the process 10x faster. I’m 100% sure of that.
- People who takes the effort to group their adgroup tightly and have 2 ads per adgroup to split test which ads performs better. You need to get SpeedPPC because it will help you to create 1 keyword per adgroup for as many keywords as you want as LIGHTNING speed.
- People who not only uses Google but also Yahoo and MSN. SpeedPPC supports all 3 search engine and all you need to do is to create the campaign once and upload the campaign to all the 3 search engine. This will save you HOURS upon HOURS of manual work to do the campaign 3x all over again and also save the time of waiting for Yahoo and MSN interface to load… (they load realllllll slow btw.. but you still gotta wait because they are effective and will make you $$$…)

Maximising Your Business Expenses
This post is for all Singaporean PPC. As ppc marketers or traffic brokers, we all have expenses to pay for. We pay for traffic and we definitely have credit card expenses. This is something that we cannot run away from.
But here’s how i maximise my business expenses to the fullest. I use credit cards to pay for my online expenses and this will help me to accumluate rewards points which i can exchange for goodies when i collect enough of these points. Having a bill of SGD$50,000 and up every months adds up the points pretty quickly.
Here’s how i add additional SGD$300 into my pocket by using Standard Chartered Xtra Savers account. They do not give reward points for using your debit card but you get cashback of up to $300 every month when you use your debit card/cheque book. So i would use my Xtra Saver account to pay off my bills for my credit cards and take that extra $300 every month. That’s actually adds up to $3600 a year just by doing this plus a ton of rewards point to redemn stuffs for yourself.
So having bills to pay aint actually that bad huh?

My Report… Opps…
Honestly… i have not writen a word about my report and neither have i thought about what to write in my report… So today i’ll like you guys to help me think of what my report should consist of… I have come up with 2 topic with the report and its either Google Adwords PPC or PPV Traffic in general (duh!). The screenshot below shows the expenses that i have spend with both TrafficVance and also Google Adwords.
The basic outline of the report for PPV Traffic would be:
- What is PPV Traffic
- How PPV Traffic Works
- What sort of offers converts with PPV
- Why is PPV the most targeted form of traffic
- Step by Step campaign Set up
- Strategies that i found out after testing almost $100,000 on TrafficVance
Outline for Google PPC will be:

- Landing Page Creation (How to beat the Google QS)
- Split Testing Ad Copy

- Scaling
- Tweaking & Optimizing campaign
The outline is only a rough guide and i may or may not follow exact the outline that i have just listed out… So what do you guys think and want?

The 5 Figure Income Stigma
Many people often ask me how many campaigns do i currently have now to be making 5 figure net profit every month and they were shocked when they heard what i had to say. I ususally tell them just one or two will make you 5 figure or even 6 figure a month.
And they ask me how is that possible.? Its only a matter of scaling your profits up by finding more traffic out there on the Internet that will convert for your already profitable campaigns. Gauher said this statement which kinda makes sense and enlightening. If the offer is making you $1 for every $0.50 that you spend. Then go out onto the Internet and find as many $0.50 as possible which will generate you that $1 in revenue.
Many super affiliates only have a few campaigns that are making them 6 figure income a month. Amit has only 3 campaigns and Jonathon Volk has only 3-4 campaigns that made him $300,000/month in revenue. UberAffiliate once blog that he has only 1 campaign that is making him $10,000 in profit every day.
Its really about finding that profitable campaigns and then scaling it up to super affiliate profits. Its much easier to scale up a campaigns then to keep finding profitable campaigns because everyone know in this game, 8 out of 10 offers are dud and when you find that 2 goldmine, scale it up and milk it for as much as you can.
PPC Classroom Live has kind of changed my perspective of this whole PPC game. This toughest part about this game is not finding profitable campaigns, its how you are able to scale that profitable campaign into a business. A business center that will generate you money on autopilot without much of your attention. That’s when you will have a business center aka cashcow and then you can move on to dominate another niche.. This should be the way how PPC is played and not moving from offers to offers to keep finding profitable campaigns. If you do not turn that campaign into a business, the campaign will only eventually die off and you’ll be off looking for more profitable campaigns again and again and again. This is not a business. A business has a system in place whereby profits will continue to come in even without you being around and the profits can last for a long long time.

I’m Back
I’m back in Singapore safe and sound after 2 weeks of traveling. This has been the longest and the most wonderful trip ever and i would love to visit USA again if i have a chance. Affiliate Summit East New York will be my next aim and that will probably happen next year August..

Snow in USA at 9000 ft above sea level
After a short drive from Yosemite… You’ll climb to 9000+ feet above sea level and yep… you’ll see snow…
292 ft below sea level
Another 4 hours drive from snow and you’ll see deserts… this is 292 ft below sea level and the temperature is 41 degrees… Crazy world huh USA… You see snow and deserts all in one day… from temperature of 6 degrees to 41 degrees… haha

And this is Las Vegas… Every hotels has a casino and i’m pretty lucky to win a few hundred bucks there already… hee…

The Magical 5 Figure Day

Wooohooo… Today, June 29th 2009, is a magical day for me.. Today marks a milestone for my affiliate marketing business career. Two major event happen today.
1) My revenue for 28th June crossed the 5 figure mark at exactly 2.04pm Singapore time (1104pm PST). I managed to hit $10,124.90 in gross revenue and its real a darn exciting day for me.. Could hardly sleep at night just to monitor the stats and make sure that i do not exceed my budget.
However, my cost is pretty high at $8400, which leaves me with about a 20% gross margin which is low! My action plan now will be to tweak my campaign to increase the landing page CTR and also optimizing ads for CTR and QS and also delete non converting keywords… Hope this baby carry on!
The reason why i was able to scale it up so quickly is because of a tip that Jonathon Volk said in his interview with Tracking202. You can watch the interview here and see if you can catch the ultimate tip that Jonathon said.

2) I registered my company today! Met up with some accountants and tax people to discuss the details of the company. Its really troublesome now that i have a company and personal name. Everything gotta be accounted for even though ALL the money is yours… but the tax relief for Pte Ltd is very good though..
Affiliatepedia Pte Ltd is the name of my company.. Nice name? ha
June is coming to an end soon and i’ll have an update of my progress for June pretty soon and i’m finally doing up the last part of my PPV Traffic report so stay tune..
