Christmas Comes Early For ME!
The month December marks the coming end of the current year and its also a month of festivals, gifts and holidays! It is also the month where online sales starts to spike up where people start purchasing gifts for Christmas.
Today i got a very nice parcel from one of my favorite CPA network, Mundo Media Inc.
Its a very nice set of Belgium chocolate. Its always nice when CPA networks go the extra mile to stay connected and establish a personal touch with their affiliates so we stay committed to the network and continue to push more revenue for the CPA network.
What other network gifts/Christmas card will i receive? i’ll update this post as i get more.

Adoori.com – A worthy traffic source?
I have been on both Affplaybook and Stackthatmoney forum for a while now and have seen people testing out Adoori and commenting that the traffic quality sucks and traffic does not convert for most CPA offers.
From my opinon, i guess the reason why its not converting for them is because they do not understand the demographics of the user of Adoori. Base on my research with Adoori, most of the user generally come from free video viewing sites and also free file sharing site like mediafire and raidshare. Adoori serve both pop up and pop under depending on the browser type of the user.
Bearing the user demographics in mind. I researched on the demographics on some of the most popular free video site and file sharing site and below are my results.

If we take a look and compare more sites, we will find a few things in common.
- Higher percentage of males than females
- Age group falls mostly under the category of under 18 and a bit to the 18-34 age group
With this information in mind, what do you think people whom are around this age will be interested in? I have listed some of the niche and offer types that people around this age might be keen in.
- Gaming
- Freebies
- Electronics
- Dating – since more males than females demographics
- Surveys
- IQ Quizes
- Mobile offers
- Targeting seasonal offers on festive occasion like Halloween, Valentines’ Day etc
Since there are no form of targeting in Adoori except for channels, the traffic is basically RON (Run Of Network) traffic and therefore, we have to find a offer that will suit the majority of the user.
To do this, we have to set up a rotator with top offers from different niches (ask your AM to help you with this) in order to find out which niches works best for the user of Adoori.com
I would recommend you put in a healthy sum of testing budget to run RON traffic. Reason being if you have 10 offers that are in rotation and if you only spend a $20 test budget. You are essentially only sending $2 worth of traffic to each offer which is statistically insignificant to find a winner.
In order to track your campaigns easily and being able to rotate your offers conveniently, its best that you have a tracker like CPVLab.com. I wouldn’t recommend Prosper202 simply because i am unable to set a different weighted percentage for the offer in rotation.
Since pop under is relatively cheap, you can buy a big traffic inventory with just a small budget. And because we are buying pop up, i cannot emphasize the importance of a good and faster server that will load your pop quickly. I recently saw this banner at Affbuzz.com and found this banner to be very interesting.
This actually turns out to be a Beyond Hosting banner and they are so far the best hosting company i have come across. Support is superb and their server load time is faster than most of the other hosting company because their server have been optmized to suit CPVLab/Prosper202 tracking software.
Also remembering that Adoori has a very huge traffic inventory in international countries, these are the area that cannot be neglected. Targeting international traffic allows you to have a lower CPM rate and also have lesser competition and your profitable campaigns becomes more stable because you wont be in a constant and hardcore bidding war than if you were to be targeting solely in USA.
The opportunities and income potential are endless.
For me, i have several campaigns that are running at a 100-200% ROI at Adoori and its one of the most stable campaigns that i have come across so far.
But whenever i hear people say a traffic network is shit. Its probably not because of the traffic source but the person himself.
Just because a campaign that’s converting in Traffic source A and cant work shit on Traffic source B doesn’t make Traffic source B a shit traffic network.
I would encourage you people to check out Adoori.com traffic again and give it another shot with what i have recommended in the earlier post. Tackling a traffic source takes time and effort and a little test budget.

Mindset Of A Successful Affiliate
Its been a while since i have last blogged and i decided i’ll give something valuable back to my readers today.
I have seen so many struggling affiliates and people asking me, How come you can do it and i cant? What’s the differences between you and me that sets our income so far apart. I know the mental struggle and the difficulities some of them are facing.
They have a full time job, they have their family and kids to take care of.. and whenever they get home after work, their brain get so squashed out that they can hardly look at the computer screen anymore. Much less staying focused to build campaigns and research on their competitor.
However, i have a different perspective and have also seen my fellow Internet buddy and good friend, Ollie Hales, succeed in his venture in CPA and affiliate marketing even when he has a 1 year old baby girl and have his own family and his church activity and have a full time job as a software engineer.
So why was Ollie able to succeed in his online business while having the same type of commitment and responsibility like the rest of the struggling affiliates?
You see, affiliate marketing is easy, but not simple. Its easy to acquire the skills you need to be successful in this business. Tracking, Editing landing pages, optmizing, monitoring and competitor analysis. A bit of technical knowledge will help you acquire these knowledge in no time.
Ultimately, what sets a struggling affiliate apart from a successful affiliates all boils down to mindset.

Co-Reg Offers.. Whats that?
It seems that many affiliates do not know what Co-reg is and how insanely profitable this can be compared to the conventional CPA offers that everyone knows. Therefore, this post will serve as a FAQ to the commonly misunderstood co-reg term.
What does Co-Reg means?
Co stands for many and reg stands for registration. So essentially, co-reg stands for many registration offers. Instead of getting a visitor that u paid for go through 1 CPA offer and you earn the commission one time, you can now show them many offers and profit from EACH of the offers that you show them.
How are the revenue calculated for co-reg offers?
Because there is no fix revenue per conversion (some visitor may fill out 2 offers, some may fill out 5 offers), the calculation of revenue is via the term RPU (revenue per user – the average revenue earn per user who lands on your co-reg path)
Co-reg network works via a revenue sharing model. So it can be like, 70%-30% revenue sharing model. You earn 70% of the revenue and the network keeps 30%.
Where can you find c0-reg network?
There are a few big co-reg network out there in the industry. Here are a few that i have used them before and the reputable ones.
- http://www.gametheory.com/ – one of the biggest c0-reg network out there. Weekly wire payment can only be given out if you are generating more than $50k a week.
- http://www.Silver-Path.com/ – Sister company of the ever popular Mundo media. A canada based company and also my favourite co-reg network. They pay out weekly if you hit $2500 in commission a week.
- http://www.SmileyMedia.com/ – Not quite used them before because revenue sharing model starts from 50-50%
- http://www.Digipathmedia.com/ – Quite a good network that have RPU matching the big boys. But i’ll still go for either gametheory or silver-path as my co-reg network choice.
How does the Co-Reg affiliate link work?
Silver-path offers consist mainly of mobile and short form lead submit offers and each path usually consist of 4-5 offers in each path. The network will show randomly the best converting offers based on your traffic to give you the highest RPU as possible.
So your affiliate link will look like this.

The network will provide you with a few variable pass through token that will allow you to pass variables from your landing pages into your affiliate link so that the infomation will be pre populated into the offers. (imagine the user has to fill in the same infomation 5 times, that would cause your conversion to drop alot)
Infomation that are usually required are first name, last name and mobile number. But i will usually also collect email address from the visitor so that i can build my own list and then promote CPA offers from there via email.
So after prepoplating, the affiliate link will look like this.

What i mean by pre populating is to collect these data on your landing pages and then passing the variables over to the token in silver path link.

International TrafficVance Account
If you had always thought that Trafficvance is a all US only PPV network, then you cant be more than wrong this time. Trafficvance has branched out into getting International traffic for close to a year now. They are still heavily on the English speaking countries mainly UK, CA, AU and NZ.
According to my rep at trafficvance, most of the international traffic comes from United Kingdom, so if you have any nice UK offers that you would like to scale up your traffic on, why not give Trafficvance international a try?
To run international traffic, you need to have a separate account from your US account. Just append _intl to the back of our username and you’ll get approved without having go through all the approval hassle. Initial deposit is also at $1000 and $500 minimum for each subsequent top up.
Base on my testing so far, UK and canada showed the most potential and the highest traffic volume so far. I’ll post back on my results and stats when i have more data to show.

Clearing Your Tracking Software Data To Boost Profitability!
I’m recently big into buying tons of cheap ppv traffic from all over the internet and running them through my Prosper202 tracking software. Thanks to Beyond Hosting, my server is holding out pretty fine. No sign of exploding my VPS2048 yet, but i hope i can explode them soon and then switch to dedicated server. lol
But one of the things i learn is that your prosper202 will start to go slower when it stores up too much data on its database. It usually goes slower after 1million subid visitor and if you let that continue, the redirection from your prosper202 link to your offer might slow down. We all know what happens when your server slows down, especially for ppv traffic. Every micro and milli seconds counts.
Besides, when your prosper202 starts to get overloaded, the data will take a long time to load and often ends off as a request time out for me.
So i often make it a point to empty out my prosper202 data on my sql database so i wont face lag time and so i wont leave out any potential profits that i may have made if my server weren’t slow.
Just in case for those technically challenged marketers like me, i’ll show some screen shots of how you can empty out your prosper202 data in your cpanel.
From your cpanel, go to phpmyadmin under the databases section
From there, go on to click on database and locate the database name where you use it for your proper202.
From the list of many p202 data, tick the checkbox for anything that’s more than 300,000.. At least that’s what i would do. I just want to make sure i do not empty my data that contains my tracking link, my landing page url, traffic sources etc etc.
Once you have checked those boxes, scroll down to the bottom and select empty. It will ask you for a confirmation to truncate all the data and then you just need to confirm them.
You will lose all your previous data and you won’t be able to see any data once you have empty them. So make sure you are sure you want to erase your data before you empty them!
Time for me to empty out my data soon! i hope this mini tutorial will add somemore extra bucks into your pocket every month!

The Final Quarter Push
September begins and this marks the 4th Quarter push before the end of 2011. Everyone knows that when winter comes, that’s where volume goes all the way up and its the best time to bang your keyboard faster and click that mouse few millions times more because winter means more money for all of us affiliates and traffic brokers.
Festive seasons are also coming along with Halloween fast approaching and than Black Friday, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The end of year rush has always been the best quarter for me and this year won’t be an exception. I know i’ll be working even harder to get myself a nice fat check this quarter.

This is how i would double my profits
You have a profitable campaign going and its profitable. Your ROI is now at 50% and you are happy. You make $1000/day in profit and you feel your life’s changed. Whenever that happens, most people would think they are all set for life. Their life rocks and they start to pamper themselves by taking time off work and being lazier at work.
But, the cruel truth is that, for every hour that you spend not working, tens of people are chasing behind you, grinding harder than anyone else. They are hungry for success and they think much bigger than you. When they reach $1000 in nett profit per day, they now aim for $2000/day. They work harder than when they are earning $100/day and even harder when they reach $2000/day. That’s how super affiliates work and that’s how you hear people earning insane amount of money.
I always hear from Ryan Eagle saying that he focuses 80% of his time on scaling exsisting profitable campaigns and spend 20% of his time creating and locating new campaigns. This seems to be the secret success formula for himself ever since he gone full time onto affiliate marketing many years ago.
So what actually is scaling a campaign? We all know its to increase our profit margin and increase our net profit per day or per month. But how do we actually go about doing it?
In my opinion, this is how i would double my profits from $1000/day to $2000/day. In order to scale, there are 3 things that you can do.
- Double your traffic while maintaining the same level of traffic quality.
- Double your landing page CTR from your landing page to your offer page
- Increase the conversion of your offer by twice so your EPC doubles.
In doubling your traffic, you can either expand your traffic from the current traffic sources by adding in more urls, more keywords, more sites that you are targeting, or add in more banners sizes that you may already have to increase your reach to the target audience in the traffic source.
Alternatively, you can use the current setting that you and expand it out into other traffic sources. Reinvest some of your profits to test out new traffic sources you are more diversified and your income increases when you hit a jackpot.

The second step in doubling your landing pages comes from split testing and web optmizing your landing page. I would like to use Google web optmizer multi variate split testing function to help me test many variables at the same time, so that i can get the highest CTR on my landing pages to my offer. Never leave any landing page untested, always be testing some variables and you’ll double your landing page CTR in no time! You can check out my post on how i use Google web optmizer and tutorial on it.
As for the third method to increase the conversion on your offer. I would do a rotation on the back end offer to find the best converting similiar offers. I can be using the same offer from a different network to test the conversion rate, or i can be using a similiar offer to split test for better conversions. This simple trick and tip will allow you to grow your EPC overtime and you could be earning much more by just rotating to find a better offer each time. Split test 2 offers at a time, remove the loser and keep the winner and keep adding. You can even do a 75% rotation on the winner offer and 25% rotation on the new offer so you still keep your ROI and profits and always be testing.
Now go scale up your campaigns. I’m gonna be doing that too!

I guess this post came earlier but since i gathered i have nothing better to do now as almost every network and company is off on vacation for the holiday… i reckon i should start thinking about the past year and the plan ahead… i always do this on the 30th of December on each and every year every since i started my IM journey and this year wont be an exception.
Year 2011… Woah… Where should i start? 2011 has been a rather roller coaster year for me in my business as well as my life. The year seems to past so quickly yet so many things happened.
I reached several milestone as well and this year has been a full year where i worked on my business full time after i graduated from university last year. Pros and cons… But sometimes when you have too much free time, you tend to slacken off thinking there’s always more time coming up. This is definitely a bad habit that i know i have to kick because nobody’s gonna be pushing you and shout at you to work harder. Everything comes from your own discipline and your own mental mindset.
I pushed past my 6 figure profit income twice this year and i’m very proud of myself for being able to achieve that. And also to reward myself for achieving this milestone, i actually went ahead and fulfilled my dream of owning my dream Mercedes SLK200 car.
Some of my friends were mentioning that my outfit does not fit into the status of my car. But heyy… that’s the outfit that i used to earn this car and that’s precisely why working at home is such a blessing and i’m grateful for being able to run my business anywhere in any outfit that i want to.
The event was very good as there were 2 other speakers, Eddy Kuah and also Ken Lee who flew in from Penang Malaysia to give a very good presentation and i learnt a lot of stuff from them too!
I also went on a few trips to Kualar Lumpur Malaysia to help my friend, Jaz Lai, to give a short presentation of CPA marketing and paid traffic generation to his students in his workshop.
I also met up with my Hong Kong account rep from Adoori.com in Singapore. She came over for a short holiday and we met up and had great fun together. Brought her around Singapore tourist attraction, ate the best local food here.. lol.. Its always nice putting a face to the person that you have been speaking to across the globe and whom have helped you so much in your business and personal growth.

Personal life:
i travelled to quite a few countries these year to Vietnam in March, Langkawi in April, Bali in June, USA in July with December having 2 trips. 1 to Bangkok, Thailand and the other to Maldives for Christmas. A island of crystal clear water
I also went to USA in July where i visited w4 office and took a tour in the office and also saw my favorite affiliate manager of all time, Leah Jacoby in person! She gave me a really warm welcome hug and it really felt like i met a long lost friend. She is actually my 2nd affiliate manager from the day i started my Internet marketing career from Hydra and look at how far we have both gone now. She’s a affiliate director at w4 now and i’m.. hmm still an internet marketer… lol..
Pretty long post eh… what else… i also ended my relationship with my girlfriend of 4 years… a painful decision.. but i believe that’s the best and fair choice for the both of us… I do not know what to expect in the coming years… i hope i’ll be good though..
and i wish her well too…
I also started to invest in gold and silver for i think precious metals will be the biggest opportunity in our lifetime and also the instrument for the greatest wealth transfer of all time. I read through tons and tons of material on the currency and the current global and US economy and i am pretty firm on my stand.
I also picked up trading in precious metals on the fx platform mainly MT4 and solely just trading gold and silver and no other currency pair. This has been going well for me too and i hope to master the art of trading in another 6 months to 1 year time.
