I’ve not been at the top so i don’t know how the top people feel. However, i can relate very late how the beginners and newbies feel.

For those who are struggling, remember to focus on your goals. Write them down. Memorize them. Revisit them frequently.

If you don’t, you risk losing sight of what you are doing and why you are doing it.

And when that happens, you can be easily distracted by the next bright shiny object that comes along.

If you stay focused, plan your work and work your plan, success is certain to find you. Sometimes it is that last little push that provides the momentum you need.

And if you are already succeeding online, don’t get complacent. It’s a very competitive web and you don’t want to end up behind the competition.

Strive to innovate. Always learn. Provide better goods or services for your customer. Use your gifts and talents as best as you possibly can. Never give up. Never give up. And never give up.

That means if you are building content-rich sites that can earn you money through either affiliate or adsense,  create a rich user experience for every visitor. Provide them with solutions to their problems. And LISTEN to what your visitor wants. They’ll tell you what kind of content will draw them back again and again.

Opportunity.

The Internet provides it like never before…

… and it is ripe for the picking.

Why does it matter anyway, right?

There are many things in life that are far more important than dealing with negative people.

Let me ask you a question:
Who doesn’t have a downside?
Who doesn’t go through a tough time in life?

Of course, everyone! Unless you are just part of the 0.001% of the people in this world who are naturally born happy.

I want you to know that life is very beautiful.

Every single hour, minute, and second that you wasted for something useless, such as:
Eating all that junk food.
Watching TV all night long.
Hanging out in the club all week long

You are just wasting your existence on this God-given beautiful earth.

It is actually sad to see every person that I know, every person in my neighborhood, every fellow that I meet on a daily basis,blaming others.

The guy in McDonald’s is blaming his boss.

The newbies are angry with the marketers, saying they are just a whole bunch of con-man that are trying to steal other people’s money.

The word “TRY” is very powerful.

Look at it in the positive way.
Look at the word “try” as a monentum for people to take action in their life.

One thing that you have to learn is, there are many marketers in this world.

Regardless, if they are sucessful or not, they are trying and so am i. We are doing their best. We focus on the energy that other people will use their mouths to attack them.

That’s the COURAGE most people will never have.
It is very easy to blame others.

However, it takes time and effort to give your best shot doing something, even though it is the wrong thing.
Instead of saying,

“It doesn’t matter”.

Flip that word around by saying, “Everything I do, does matter to my success and i will do my best in it!“.

This is the POWER within your words that will make you take action, make you do something that you really want to achieve in your life.

This way, the next time you hear the words,

“It doesn’t matter”

Smile at it.

Laugh at it.

This is because you know the truth that, “Successful people will always do what is necessary to get to the next step all the time.”

However, unsuccessful people will just keep saying, “It doesn’t matter”, in hopes that they can drag other people down with their negativities.

I’ll be attending his 3 months course at only SGD$180! What a deal! ha let’s see what my results are after following his course closely for 3 months. This is what i planned to do when attending his workshop.

1) Attend ALL his sessions and meetings!

2) Do what he says! I’ll be like a child following his exact instructions. If he says i must do ABC.. i’ll do more then what’s expected of me. I’ll do ABCD and hopefully EFG!

3) Be Discipline and be Focus! This is definitely going to be a chance where i can really learn all the necessary aspects of internet marketing like how to create a professional looking website and how to really drive traffic and get high ranking in Google.

5. They never make it a must. Let me explain what it means to make it a must. It means channelling all your intent, your will, your direction, into one singular flow that is directed towards your goal. All obstacles are viewed as challenges to be overcome. You will meet obstacles, and so expect it, but also expect to move forward anyways. Use your obstacles to develop strength and skills, don’t run away. Find out how to go past them. Find out! There is always a way, always. And if your emotions are acting against your desire, embrace them, learn what they are, know yourself, but keep moving forward. Make it a must, and it will happen. Guaranteed. You don’t know in how many steps it will take, but you know it will happen.

6. They don’t have a realistic plan. If you want to do something, find out how it is done from someone who has done it before. Make a realistic plan. Copy the success from those who have succeeded before you. But don’t throw away your intuition. Your intuition is extremely powerful once you learn how to listen to it with practice.

7. If they have a realistic plan, they never follow through on the plan. Well, if you don’t follow the plan, who will?

8. They give responsibility to others ï´¾”Gurus”ï´¿ instead of to themselves. This way, they never really learn how to do it, and if there are failures they never learn why the failures happened and so they are bound to repeat them. It is a good idea to get advice, but do it yourself. At least understand it yourself even if you will delegate the actual doing.

9. They give up when they face challenges. Going through the challenges is what has made people rich, not giving up. Look, there are always challenges. So get used to that. You will only get where you wish to get to if you are willing to face the challenges along the path. All challenges are opportunities dressed in work clothes, remember that. After the challenge is over, you will discover the amazing fruit it held for you.

10. They fail to conduct their lives as a business; They never ensure that they make a profit year by year. You need to have budgets and cash flow statements for your personal finances and your businesses. If you don’t keep records and track, you wont know when you are making or losing money until it is embarrassingly too late.

11. They allow other people’s ideas to affect their decisions unreasonably. There will always be people who don’t believe in your way, or who are pessimistic, who try to pull you down, or whatever. And they will sometimes be your closest friends and family. You cannot change that they have a right to be who they are. It is OK. Allow them their thoughts, don’t judge them for that, but don’t feel obligated to accept their thoughts of follow their way. Don’t allow other people, now or from the past, unreasonably affect your decisions. Allow them their way, and you live your way.

12. They don’t get quality coaching. This is extremely important! Coaching is simply getting mentored by someone who has succeeded wildly in the area of your interest. Get coaching! Our education system hardly equips us for real life, so don’t assume that because you went to college you are properly equipped. Hardly, You need to keep learning. The most successful people attend seminars, read books, join mastermind groups and clubs, find mentors, network, and even hire expensive personal coaches to make sure they succeed.

How many of these reasons can you identify with? Well, now that you see the reasons, you now can look at yourself and make sure that you don’t follow ways that are known to not lead to wealth. Follow what works and it will work. And don’t forget to enjoy yourself along the way.

Although you wouldn’t know it from her articles and sales letters, Ladan was not born into an English-speaking family. She started learning the language at eight years of age, and devoured every English book she could get her hands on.

Even at such a young age, she began to realize that her fluency in English would open up more doors of opportunity throughout her life. Throughout her teen years, this fervor grew as she tackled the language head-on.

A true entrepreneur, she decided that she wanted to become independent and produce her own income. When her family bought a computer, she quickly began experimenting with ways she could turn it into an income stream. She tried all kinds of business; teaching Windows, graphic designing with PhotoShop, website design and even learned C++ programming.

Even though she was able to make money through those avenues, she knew that there was a bigger opportunity out there.

At sixteen years of age, she discovered the world of internet marketing through the late Cory Rudl’s ( Derek Ghel’s Mentor)  website. She bought and studied his internet marketing course, along with other ebooks and resources.

She knew right away that THIS was the business she wanted to be in.

Her friends and family tried to convince her that becoming a successful internet marketer in Iran would be IMPOSSIBLE, and that she shouldn’t continue to waste her money. If you’ve ever faced the negative energy of friends and family, you’ll understand that it’s a powerful force that can quench your enthusiasm and ultimately abort the launch of a new business.

Fortunately, her father believed in her, and the resistance of others made her more determined than ever to find success.

After about a year of learning and studying the business, she launched her first website, and the rest, as they say, is history. But that history has not been without its fair share of bumps and valleys.

Jumping into business forced her to take her English proficiency to a new level. For a long time it was difficult to read and comprehend the many technically-oriented ebooks that she acquired.

And if reading comprehension was a challenge, writing was an even bigger issue.

It would take her six hours to write and proofread an article, but her determination paid off. Today if you search for her name on a search engine, you’ll find a slew of her articles indexed all over the internet.

And as if writing weren’t enough, she wanted to write her own sales copy. Anyone who’s ever successfully written a sales letter will concur that being a good writer doesn’t make someone a good copywriter.

She studied articles and courses from the top copywriters, and practiced until she had developed her own style. While there is obviously some innate talent at work here,  she is also a testament that copywriting CAN be learned.

Starting her business was the beginning of a long uphill battle.

Because of the US embargo on Iran, she faces obstacles that most of us wouldn’t imagine. Her culture has already tied one hand behind her back. The language barrier effectively tied the other one. And the following problems essentially tied her feet… a situation that would cripple most marketers and paralyze them from moving forward in business.

Most people wouldn’t jump into a new business with their hands and feet tied. It’s impossible, right? Just don’t use the word “impossible” around Ladan…

To start with, she couldn’t get a credit card. That makes it pretty tough to buy anything online, wouldn’t you say?

Most online business relies on credit cards for many things. Not a day goes by without several business-related charges to credit card.

As a matter of fact, there are some sites that only accepts credit cards!

She can’t open a PayPal account. Again, this limits her ability to make online purchases. It also rules her out of participating in a large number of affiliate programs that only pay commissions via PayPal.

Of course probably the biggest disadvantage of not having a PayPal account is not being able to accept PayPal payments. She estimates that this one issue is costing her many thousands of dollars in lost sales.

She can’t get a merchant account, so it becomes very difficult to sell anything online.

She can’t have a bank account in US dollars. So that rules out another possibility of making or receiving payments.

To make matters worse, she can’t have any bank account that accepts wire transfers. This cripples her ability to receive payments from affiliate programs to her bank account, or from merchant services for her own products. So even if she can find a way to sell a product online, getting that money into her own hands is a huge obstacle.

She can’t cash any USD checks. That rules out most of the other affiliate programs.

She can’t travel. It’s almost impossible for her to get a visa to travel outside of Iran. This means that she has not been able to go abroad to attempt to open up accounts, and she can not attend any internet marketing seminars.
Those are just some of the barriers created by the embargo. There are many more limitations imposed by the Iranian government.

On top of these physical barriers, she also faces another kind of discrimination that continues to this day.

In a business built upon online image and perceived trust, she has been severely disadvantaged by the way much of the world views Iranians.

As she puts it, “the reactions are not very pleasant.”

She thinks it’s mainly due to the way the media has portrayed Iran and Islam. This has made it difficult to be open and build relationships online, as she has found that even her own subscribers, customers, and business associates look at her differently when they discover she is from Iran.

She says, “some people even act like I am a terrorist”.

She has received “hate” emails through her websites and also on forums.

“I know who I am and where I stand,” says Ladan, “but what the media shows the world and what my country’s government does has nothing to do with me. So I just wish people in the west - especially the United States - would understand this difference.”

Let me ask you a few questions…

Do you have a credit card?

Do you have a PayPal account?

Can you open a US bank account?

Can you receive US checks?

Do you have the freedom to travel?

Could you go to an internet marketing seminar?

Maybe you didn’t answer “Yes” to ALL of those questions, but for EACH question you answered “yes” to, you are starting one step ahead of Ladan.

Let me ask you a couple more questions…

Are you fluent in English?

If you said “Yes”, take two more steps ahead.

Do people view you as a terrorist?

No? Take three more steps ahead.

If this girl can do it, so can YOU. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are… it doesn’t matter where you live in the world… it doesn’t matter what other internal and external factors are trying to hold you down.

You CAN succeed.

In spite of all her challenges, Ladan views internet marketing as an easy opportunity to take advantage of, and she encourages others to do as she has done!

“I think there’s nothing hard about it. It’s the perfect kind of business for people who want to be independent and work for themselves in a business that there’s no limit to your success.”

If you’re just getting started, she has more advice,

“When you are just getting started, you should know it might take some time to make the amount of money you expect, and you should keep on and don’t give up - no matter how people around you try to disappoint you. I think this is the most important and difficult part… it’s where most people give up.”

In the three short years that she’s been in business, she’s worked hard and implemented many strategies that she’s learned by studying other successful marketers.

Out of everything she’s tried, she deems list-building as the most important component of her business,

“Nothing is more powerful than building a targeted responsive list and building a relationship with that list.”

While her income may not yet be on par with the internet marketing superstars, she’s earning a living online that would impress even those of us living in a more generous economy (she recently earned $6300 USD in a month).

The thing that must be kept in mind is that she is making more money than about 95% of the people in her country, and bringing home more income than her countrymen who have 30+ years of experience in their careers.

I’d love to see what she’d be capable of achieving outside the restraints of her county, and so would she, which is one reason she is considering a move to a locale more conducive of her business - such as Canada or Australia.

She says the biggest key to success is, “Believing in yourself, and promising yourself that you WILL reach your goals and won’t let anything or anyone stop you.”

When asked about what makes her different from those who fail, she said that her success is derived from her persistence in facing and overcoming challenges and obstacles.

She points out one of her favorite quotes from Ross Perot,

“Most people give up just when they’re about to achieve success. They quit on the one yard line. They give up at the last minute of the game, one foot from a winning touchdown.”

When she’s not working on her business, she enjoys reading self-improvement books (who would have guessed?), dancing, watching movies, spending time in nature, and going out with friends.

In other words, she’s just a normal girl with big plans and an indomitable positive attitude.

Today she has more than 20 websites, and she hopes to expand her business by 400% while continuing to help others find their own success.

As Ladan says, “If a young girl who got started when she was only 16 years old, with no previous business experience, with English being her second language, with less than $30 to her name, in a country where you can’t have a credit card or PayPal account and is under a strict embargo from United States, and so much more limitations…

If such a girl can succeed, how is it possible that YOU can’t succeed - while you may not even have one of these limitations?”

Ladan will never give up.

Fact: This is the top excuse given by poor people who are in denial. The truth is that without money, you cannot maximize other important values such as family, career, health, spirituality and relationships. 

Myth: Money will make you less spiritual.

 Fact: Again, if you are by nature a spiritual person, money will allow you to touch more lives and help you do more of god’s work. The wealthiest people in the world believe that they don’t own the money. God owns it. They are just custodians of wealth. 

Myth: Rich people are materialistic. They worship money. 

Fact: It is those people without money who worship it. Who works all day, year after year in a job which they hate, just for the money? Who is wishing they had more money? Who is constantly worrying about money? Who are those who constantly sacrifice their health and family to make more money? It is those who are wealthy or those who have no money? In fact, the rich rarely work because money. They work because of passion, and the money flows to them. This is why Bill Gates still works every single day despite being the richest man in the world. Tiger Woods (worth US$700m) still goes out there and plays in golf tournament. 

Myth: If I became wealthy, I will lose all my friends. If I had a lot of money, my friends and family will look at me differently  

Fact: If you lose some of your friends, it only means that you have found out who your false friends are. When you become wealthy, you will make new friends with a wealthy mindset. 

Myth: To have more money, I will be depriving others of it. 

Fact: Nonsense. The more money you make, it means the more value you are creating in the world. As a result, the more wealth you create in the world. Because of the creation of Microsoft and its technologies, so many more millionaires have been created as a result. Think about it, if Windows, Word, Excel etc… did not exist, so many people will not be able to make use of its technologies to create their own wealth. Wealth multiples wealth. 

Myth: Having a lot of money will give me a lot of worries and problems. 

Fact: The majority of the problems people faces in life (relationships, health, and career) are the result of the lack of money. 

Myth: Money is the ‘root of all evil’. 

Fact: The love of money is the root of all evil. Instead, we should love people and control money. Not love money and control people.

Well, most people will obtain just one or two points at most. Isn’t it? Some even zero.  I would say the maximum points that both player can get is 8 points each. How? 1 player will draw crosses on all 9 boxes and the other will draw circle on all 9 boxes. Each player can then obtain 3 points horizontally, 3 points vertically and 2 points diagonally.

The thing about human beings is that when they play this game, they go into the ‘Tic Tat Toe’ mode. They begin to outwit and prevent each other from winning, thus reducing the total number of points that each of them get. Imagine if both players begin to team up to obtain the maximum number of points that both players can get. It’ll be a win-win situation and both will get the maximum of 8 points each!

That’s the power of team work!

In fact, I believe
that the more successful you are, the more problems you will have.
Everyone has problems at any given point of time in their lives. In
fact, I would bet that Bill Gates (the world’s richest man) has his
own set of problems and I can tell you that his problems are a lot
bigger than yours and mine.

The only people without problems are those lying in the graveyard.
So, if you want to have no problems, then GO AND DIE (of course I
did not say this…he would have slapped me and not signed up).

But the question people always ask is why must life be full of
problems? Why can’t everything go the way we want? Why must things
be so difficult? Why do some people get hit with such big problems
in life sometimes? (e.g. kids run away, wife leaves them, diagnosed
with cancer, business failure).

Well, I believe that whenever a ‘problem’ arises in our life, it is
God’s way of tapping us on the shoulder and telling us that we need
to learn something or change our thoughts or actions.

If we keeping falling ill, it’s a tap on the shoulder that we are
not eating right, not exercising enough or thinking of negative
thoughts (emotional stress is the number of cause of physical
illness). If our kids don’t want to listen to us, it’s a tap on a
shoulder that we are not listening or spending enough time with them.

If you receive complaints about your work, it is a tap on the
shoulder that you are not putting enough effort or you are doing
things the wrong way. If you keep getting into arguments with your
partner, it is a tap on the shoulder that you doing what is
required to sustain a good relationship.

When we acknowldege God’s taps, learn the lesson and take positive
action, we will move closer towards our goals and dreams in life.
The trouble with most people is that they IGNORE the taps by
justifying, avoiding, denying, giving excuses or blaming someone
else for the problems arising. They say things like ‘ The stupid
boss is just finding fault!’, ‘the clients are just unreasonable’,
‘ my kids are so ungrateful and defiant’, ‘ these chest pains will
go away’, ‘ I wish my wife will quit nagging…just ignore her’.

So, what does God do when you don’t learn and do something to his
taps? He starts tapping EVEN HARDER! This is when your problems
start getting worst! Your business starts losing clients, the chest
pains get worst, your kids start arguing and shouting back,
quarrels with your partner gets more and more frequent.

And if you continue to IGNORE these taps, God will do whatever it
takes until he gets his message across to you that you need to
change your thoughts and actions. He will HIT YOU ON THE HEAD WITH
A BRICK. This is when those major problems whack you in life… Your
partner leaves you, your kids run away from home, you suffer a
heart attack or you go bankrupt.

Some people will finally get the message and start changing their
life for the better. Unfortunately, some people will always
continue blaming, get depressed and give up completely.

Now, here’s the question that will set you thinking.
