My Journey To Become A Super Affiliate

One more day and it’ll be 2008. Where are you heading to for the final countdown? Hanging out with friends? Going downtown for the hottest countdown party? Do anything but stay home and be stuck on the Internet yeah? Take a one day break from the Internet and enjoy the last day of 2007!

Been reading a lot of blogs lately and seen a lot of people setting goals for and target for 2008 so i’m gonna set mine too! Gonna be a short and simple goal which i hope i can achieve it without much difficulty. Here goes:

• Earn more at my CPA offers! (DUH!) The question here is how much more and HOW am i going to achieve that goal that i have set for myself?

Because i am currently studying in University, i am planning to just launch one campaign everyday after school before i do anything else. I’m also planning to do more extensive tracking of my keyword results by purchasing to affiliate radar and intend to figure out how Google Adwords actually works. I suppose i am missing out a lot of commissions by not advertising on Google Adwords. I’m planning to increase my net earnings to 4 figure ( excluding the decimals of course) in 2008.2.

• Continue the good profits that i have made in Options Trading! Last month i did a 6.6% profit return on my capital which is already a thousand times better then putting my money in the bank which only gives 0.125% per annum. So i’ll continue to trade and aim to hit 5 figure in my options account in 2008.

Have you ever wondered what’s stopping you from attaining success?

Its not the skills that you did not learn. Its not about the knowledge that you did not have. Its not about the brain that you have or the technology that you have or the environment that you live in.

I did not know about this as well. I always thought it was all the above mentioned that’s stopping me from attaining success.

But after hearing an audio from Stephen Pierce about the 3 factors to success, i realised that i had the wrong thinking along. It kept me thinking about what i have been doing along and i was moving on the wrong track.

I had personally talked to Stephen Pierce and he is a man of knowledge about the latest internet marketing updates and he is a very highly sought after internet marketing coach in the world.

Firstly, wanna wish everyone Merry Christmas. Hope you guys had lots lots of fun.

I did, practically gave myself a long break from Internet Marketing for about a week. Sounds so not focused am i? oh well, even though i completely stopped working on the Internet. There was still income coming in from CPA. Its on complete auto-pilot. What sort of work/job can do that for you? None. Only your own business are you able to put it on auto-pilot to generate income for you 24/7. Even when you self declared a break.

Now that the holidays are over, its time to pick up my momentum again and start my engine working again. I still have my goals to meet. Look at your goals and continue to work towards it.

A few more days left before 2007 ends and 2008 arrives. i’ll see how i can optimise my earnings and make my last sprint before the month ends.

Well, its blogging time for me. Actually i don’t know what to blog about so i’ll just try to type out whatever that comes to my mind so this post might be a bit crappy and useful so don’t mind me.

There’s really so much to learn and do in Internet Marketing that its really choking me. You have to constantly come up with new offers in new niches and you have to test and track them to see if they are profitable. On top of that, you have to continue to learn and read up to improve your knowledge and skills on writing better ads, choosing a good domain, creating a good landing page, eliminate non-converting keywords etc etc etc etc.

That’s the game of the online business. If you think that Internet Marketing is the place for you to earn quick and big bucks then you have choosen the wrong business to go into. Maybe buying the lottery ticket will suit your style more.

Making money online is possible, provided that you put in the necessary effort for you to be able to earn money online. Money doesn’t fall from the sky, you have to go and get it by putting in the required effort.

No Pain, No Gain! i”m sure you understand this phrase well enough and this should summarise all that i have just said previously.

Oh well, if you all are following the US market, the Fed just recently announced the interest rate cute 2 days ago and investors were not really happy with the little cut.

Stocks plunge all the way downwards and eventually lost 2.6%.

So what was my major mistake?

As i was too busy on CPA to monitor the current US market news. I didn’t know that the Fed was going to make the announcement on that day. Soo Chin (my girlfriend) din know either and the we sillyly went to sell another put options hoping to increase our profit margin for the month. When market plunge, we close our position to take a lost of $150USD, thus  bringing our profit margin for the month to 6.6%.

One very important thing to highlight here is that its is crucial and important to keep track of what the US financial sector is doing and what’s happening. What i do is that i just read the headlines of Yahoo news everyday and that should be sufficient for you.  It only takes 10 mins to read all the news that’s in Yahoo News.

Yup, hopefully for all those doing options trading, remember to keep yourself updated on the US market no matter how busy you are. Just spare 10 mins to do so everyday and you’ll be assured of success.

What CPA business does is buying traffic and converting them into leads for big companies and then you get paid a commission for your effort.

Why CPA is the best form of business is because you see results INSTANTLY! They give you real time tracking such that you will know immediately anytime whether you have made commission either by generating a lead or a sale.

I know many people give up on Internet Marketing because they don’t see results are doing so many things and they don’t even know if they worked or not. I have been through that phrase and i can completely relate very well to that. There is no specific goals and direction for you to move and you don’t know what you are doing. Submitting articles, leaving comments, submitting site to web directory, forums marketing, online classified. You don’t even know if they worked. Maybe that was why i stopped Internet Marketing for more than 6 months. I only hated that i did not discover CPA earlier and get started on it sooner. but at least now i have. Been on it for about 2 weeks plus and have currently gross over US$422.97 as of today, 11th December 2007 3.55pm GMT+8. I started my first campaign on 25th of November.

ha just gotten my clickbank cheque a while ago. Not a huge sum of money but at least its money!

Just want to share with that making money online is indeed real and possible. Its a real business dealing with real person and earning real US dollars.

Internet Marketing is indeed tough. Requires a lot of commitment and determination to be able to succeed. I wouldn’t say i have succeeded but i am determined to.

What’s your driving force to make you want to succeed in this business? For me personally, its the scary thought of having to wake up at 7am every weekday to go to work for the next 40-50 years of my life. Don’t you think its really scary working your ass off the next 40.. its 40 years mind you, working for money. I cant stand the thought of it and that’s what pushing me forward.

I have a dream of being able to earn money without being restricted by my geographical location and Internet Marketing & Options Trading are by far the 2 most powerful methods of fulfilling my dreams. I want to be able to travel the world and still earn money at the same time. As long as there’s Internet connection, that’s my office cum workplace.

Internet Marketing can be really frustrating when you work so hard for 10 hours and you don’t see any sales at all. Its ok to feel frustrated and irritated with it. Leave it alone for a while if you have to. But do come back after one or two days and continue to work on it. Review what you have done and change what’s done wrong and continue to improve on what’s right.

That’s what i am doing everyday consistently for the past 2 weeks or so. I know eventually i will be getting the results i want. Oh well, its not how much i want. Is how much i MUST HAVE!

I have established my driving force and my source of motivation. What about you?

Well, this post is suppose to be like a wake up call for me. Hasn’t been really focused this few days. Seems like i have a lot of commitment which is taking up far too much of my time. I don’t have much time for me a day to do CPA. Felt really guilty about it. If there is only one reason why i didn’t succeed in the future, its because of me.

I heard all those people who are earning about US$10k a month that they are doing about 5 campaigns a day and i am not even doing one a day. Oh no.. sounds bad isn’t it?

Seems like i have to make a promise to myself here tonight on my blog at 5.11am GMT+8 that i have to start focusing on my CPA business and make sure it prosper. No matter wad, I will do up 1 campaign everyday. No matter how late it is, no matter how tiring i am, no matter how boring it is. I have to do it and its only one campaign, the pros are doing 5 a day! If i want to succeed faster i should be doing 2 times more then what they are doing isn’t it? hmmm… oh well.. have to set reasonable goals and try to achieve it first.

Tomorrow, i will be focusing on building the True Dating Site campaign. Hopefully it’ll turn out well as it is recommended by my affiliate manager. Till then…

Yesterday, the Market (US) continued its rally since the market reversed into a new uptrend when I reported it last Thursday.

As you can see, I am overweight on FINANCIAL STOCKS in the WA portfolio as this sector has been way oversold and represent the most upside the next 1-2 years. Another stock that I am waiting to go back in again is Bear Sterns (BSC).

Well, best time to be selling Put Options now.. earn some cash this Christmas!
