Coping With Internet Business Burnt Out
I bet most marketers would have experienced this before and probably experience this feeling many times throughout their online career. You suddenly feel very tired having to face the computer all day long and you don’t seem to find any interest in working so hard testing campaigns anymore.. Nothing really interests you online and you just feel so tired about this whole affiliate marketing business. You start to question yourself why are you even trying so hard and whether this business of yours will last in the long term for you to have a stable income and be able to take on more liability and responsibilities like getting a installment for a car or house.
I got this feeling for the whole of last week. I call this the Internet Business Burnt Out.. I asked another friend of mine if he ever experience what i was experiencing and he said of coz… So i guess every marketer would have experience this before..
However i know that what i was feeling was just temporary because Internet Marketing is in my blood and its my passion.. So i just needed to cool and get away from working online for a while and sort out my thinking… And i did.. I went over to Muar in Johor to visit Soo Chin relatives and also Cameroon Highlands in Malaysia for a short getaway and the total time i spend online there was merely 45mins for that 3 days when i was away… A good thing was that my online business continued to run despite me only going online for about 15mins a day.. Here’s some pictures i took over there..

While i was in Cameroon Highlands, i thought to myself to totally forget about my online work and just relax and enjoy the trip.. and i really did ( except for that 15mins everyday just to check my stats and fund my accounts to continue my traffic)
When i came back, i felt more relaxed and relief and i’m starting to gain my momentum back into business. I started rolling out campaigns and testing them and scaling up current campaigns that i am running.. Its a pretty good feeling and i love what i do.. Even if the campaigns din turn out well..
All in all, i just wanted to comment that its very common to face burnt out especially in this field of business where testing and failing is a daily affair but we must need to understand and cope with this feeling and not let this feeling overrun our true self..
Find your way of coping with stress and burnt out.. My way is going for a short getaway and try not to think about your online business for a few good days…
What’s yours?

hi,IVAN:
do you still work PPC? how much do u spend on it?
Ahahahaha one look at the T-shirt you’re wearing even on holidays tells people that you are a workaholic.
Hey Ivan,
I just stumbled across your blog, and it’s really interesting and inspirational for me.
I know what you mean about burn out. I’ve been struggling with that myself lately. I know what I need to do, but I just can’t seem to get myself to do it. Maybe I just need to step away from the computer for a little bit and have some fun…

Similar to Alice Brown’s question.
You’ve showed us your nice 6 figure screen capture before and I was floored at that, but I would like to ask how much of a percentage of that 6 figures is actual NET profit?
Okay…
I got the answer from your July 3rd, 2009 post…
Phenomenal!
hi Ivan,
I used to read your blog with great interest, but lately seems that you are not paying attention to your blog and you are posting for the sake of posting. Lately your posts are very lame and really did not provide any insight into the internet marketing business, may be you are really burnt out.
I hope you do come out with good informative content and some good tips rather than posting your lame posts.
thanks,
To John:
I believe it’s Ivan’s blog not yours. The industry is starting to make a huge turn. It is normal for affiliates to be busier with work testing new offers and finding new traffic source. If you don’t like his blog you can simply unsubscribe it. Don’t sound as if he owns you a favor.
haha good stuff Ryan…
thanks for helping me say out my thoughts… if you don’t like what you are reading… then dun read… as simple as that…
I will recommend not to hold back until you get big sum of money to buy different goods! You can get the credit loans or just short term loan and feel free

Yeah, enjoy yourself during vacations and don’t worry too much about your online stuffs. Hang on there, and your will graduate as well. More time as well to put into internet marketing
