“Great” For Your Google Adwords Quality Score
This is the word that most people advertising with Google Adwords would absolutely love to see on their campaigns. This would mean that Google love your ads, love your keywords, love your landing page and reward you with a Great Quality Score so that you not only rank higher, but you pay lesser then your competitors with only OK or Poor quality score.
This quality score thing has made people even more money, but it has also caused many people to get back to their day job because they get slapped whenever they tried to set up a campaign.
I’ve been playing around with Google Adwords for a while and have noticed some interesting facts about Google Adwords that i would like to share with you.
Let me explain what happen to me in my Google Adwords account. I set up a campaign 2 days ago on Google Adwords but i only got OK for all my quality score.
However, after running my campaigns for 2 days, my Quality score all changed to GREAT and the reason why was mainly because i was getting super high click through rates (CTR). I was getting 7.17% CTR campaign wide and i suppose that’s how Google rewarded me with a GREAT QS and my minimum bids dropped to $0.04 to $0.05
So it doesn’t really matter if your landing page ain’t getting the best quality score that you are looking for. Getting a OK QS and working hard at organising your campaigns well to get a high CTR campaign will help you to get that Great that you wanted.
So after this experience, i can conclude that having a high CTR will help alot in your Google Adwords Quality Score so its definitely worth it to spend some time organising your campaign instead of lumping everything in one adgroup and hope for a high CTR.
I will be posting more findings that i have from Google Adwords so stay tuned as i attempt to dominate Google Adwords Quality Score findings.

Hehe I notice your bids quite “high” as well… in the neighbourhood of $0.50… is that a *hint*?
Hey Johnson,
yeah… i’m bidding high to get my ad position high up in the tier 1 (1-3) position so that i could get that high CTR and thus changing my QS from ok to great… and from there i’ll slowly reduce my bids so that i could crush all the other competitors with only ok bids..
ha guess i learn this strategy from Uber Affiliate and Amit…
Its okie even if i’m losing money in the first few days of campaign-ing…

Waah! How did u manage to get such a high CTR? Lotsa split-testing I guess?
