Q&A Session Round 1

Good stuff… i’ve got 7 comments from people from the previous blog… haha good job people… Keep those comments coming in so we can have more valuable content on the blog… :)

I’ll answer them in order as the comments..

Ivan,

Are you still focusing on PPC marketing or have you moved on to other traffic sources such as PPV and Media Buys. Also are you going to do a revenue update anytime soon?

I have definitely moved out from just only PPC traffic since the infamous Google ban and slap last year July 2009 where i lost 90% of my income because i was relying too much on Google..  My current traffic sources actually comes from PPC, PPV and SEO traffic…  I’m also learning and still picking up media buy now from the various media buying courses out there on the market and hopefully i can go into the media buying market soon…

As for revenue update… hmm… I’ll probably do one soon to update for the year 2010 so far… maybe a quarterly assessment of my progress and how far i am from my 2010 goals… Thanks for reminding me buddy… :)

What is your main traffic source to run CPA campaigns?

My current traffic sources actually comes from PPC, PPV and SEO traffic from Google which includes natural listing traffic, articles and videos traffic…

Paul

Hi Ivan,

How’s your PPV business going? Still going great? :)

Hey Paul,  yep my PPV business is still going on great…. I have been doing PPV for almost 2 years now.. ( 1 yr 10 mths to be exact) and it surprisingly happens to be one of the most stable and long term traffic sources and i foresee it still will be for a long time… even though more and more PPV newbies are flooding in due to all the PPV courses like ppvplaybook, mass ppv traffic, rapid mass traffic or whatever, they will eventually quit after losing US$500 and say that PPV does not work… haha… All these courses are coming out because its the latest hype.. Its what everyone wanna learn because they claim you can get CHEEAAAPP traffic but they din say that the quality of traffic is way lower than Google… whatever man… Survival of the fittest… :)

Hello Ivan,

This great opportunity to ask you questions, I’ve follow your blog long time since year and be honestly I’m really enjoy read and what do you share here, information, strategies.

My Quesitons:

* What the best suggestion you can provide for who want make $ with cpa offers, and how make them long term and be profitable?
*my second questions is: I’ve start last month send traffic contextual adware at cpa offers. I’ve learn, follow and achieve it, most affiliates doing direct linking, iframe, this strategy works for long term business?

Best.
Dennis

Hey Dennis, thanks for being such a loyal reader… :) My best suggestion is to master just a few traffic sources and do not keep hoping from strategies to strategies just because the ”guru” told you that this is the latest and best strategy that will make you a million dollars…

To have a long term offers, go for CPA offers by reputable advertiser who have been around for a long time.. also go for evergreen niches that will last and not some fad that will die off eventually.. Seasonals offers are also good to run because you can always turn on that campaign when the season comes every year to generate you some nice profits…

For contextual adware traffic, i believe that is PPV traffic… I have been running PPV traffic for 2 years now and its still going on strong.. I have had campaigns that i have been running since Day 1 i have been doing PPV and my traffic spent from PPV traffic is already more than US$200,000

Wow. Saw your title let me think of the past of playing Counter Strike lolx. Anyway, will let to know more about your mindset thinking of going through campaigns of PPC and PPV. How many percentage of your income from which areas of income marketing?

haha Javier, yeah.. that’s counter strike… very old school and outdated game already… But i hardly ever play games but CS is like one of the games i played the most already… (though its still v little) haha

Mindset in going through campaigns is that every campaigns that i create is like a chance of striking jackpot… Even though many campaigns do not work out eventually, but all you have to do is to hit 1 big one along the way and that one campaigns could very well pay for your food for 1 whole year… Its just like lottery tickets, the more tickets you buy, the higher your chances of hitting the jackpot… Its the same for campaigns… the more campaigns you try and test, the higher your chances of hitting jackpot… But the advantage is the more you do, the more you learn and the better you become and that will increase your chances of striking jackpot… :)

Thanks for this great chance Ivan. My questions here:

For a newbie, What’s the best and easiest traffic source to earn 5 Figures a month within 90 days? Facebook, PPC, PPV or Media buys? Why? Could you provide some tips for using that traffic source?

I see some Kung Fu panda here… :) that was a nice movie… haha

As a newbie i would not recommend you to go into Media Buy because if you do not know what you are doing, you will get yourself burnt and you’ll lose all your savings within one day… or maybe hours or even mins… haha..

I would recommend you to go try Facebook because you could direct link and get traffic pretty cheap… I would recommend you to go for international CPA offers to increase your chances of success because its much less competitive and so clicks are cheaper to buy… :)

PPV is also good but you have to set aside some moeny for learning and burning just so you can find out the tricks and strategies for success in PPV… and also there are more sources and information out there on PPV traffic that you can probably learn… PPVPlayBook.com is a very good resource on PPV traffic… You could probably join that membership course… :)

PPC is tough now for newbies because of all the quality score and the google slap these days and clicks are much more expensive than the rest… So i would not recommend that….

Yep… That’s all for Q&A session round 1… If there’s enough comments in this post, we could do a round 2… So please starting posting your comments and questions!! :)

Hey Ivan,

Thanks for answering our questions in a Q&A format. I also hardly play games like last time
already as nowsadays building my own income & lifestyle empire seems more interesting. haha

I feel glad to have asked you the question on mindset thinking as what you wrote is actually
what those successful students of PPCF interviews said about testing more campaigns
fast and furious (100 -200 campaigns) and also PPVplaybook successful memebers
did mentioned the same thing too. Seems like a common success formula.

I will like to ask you a few more questions. If my monthly budgets for testing campaigns is
about S$200, which one should I focus on: PPC or PPV? What is going through your mind when
you are testing campaigns? Do you test the CPA offers fast through direct linking and how
do you judge when to move on to a next campaign by killing the offer you have started?

Thanks for everything as I learn a lot through your posts on internet marketing and lifestyle living.

Cheers
Javier

Hi Ivan

Your Q & A section indeed very valuable, i have couple of questions regarding about PPV

1) Do you usually use more directly linking or landing? what is the % like?
2) What is the PPV network perform the best for you?
3) What type of CPA offers working best for you?, Short form, long form, free-trial etc?

Thanks

Hi Ivan,

Thank you for the opportunity to ask you all our questions. Can you please advise us what sort of topics to write about in our blogs for seo traffic. Are there particular niches better than others that you can recommend if we want to make lots of cash?

Thank you,
Lil Pup
