Stupid Affiliate Mistake 101
I’m writing this post not to be let you laugh at my stupidity but hopefully you guys can learn from my mistakes and not make this mistake that alot of PPC marketers will make… Even me at this stage, i still forgot this and this mistake has caused me a few hundred dollars net lost yesterday..
Here’s what happen, i created a landing page for this offer and put it up on Google adwords to run it.. I tracked my CTR of my landing page to the merchant site and found that it was around 47%… I thought that was quite low and thought that my landing page probably just sucks…
But… after digging further, i found out that the real problem is actually my landing page looks distorted in Internet Explorer even though it look beautiful in FireFox…
I tracked through my visitors and found that about half of my visitors was using Internet Explorer and this means that i had lost almost 50% of my visitors and i was paying clicks to Google for nothing.. Damn it! 
I had that problem fixed and it looks fine now… Let see how my campaign perform today. It should be profitable already. 
The bottom line is to be careful when you are creating your landing page, MAKE SURE THAT IT LOOKS FINE ON BOTH FIREFOX AND INTERNET EXPLORER!!
