If you are an international affiliate and if you are using COPEAC as your affiliate network, you will notice that you always get directed to a different landing page because you are not in the US. This makes it super troublesome when trying to view the landing page as i have to copy the link location and paste it on www.pagewash.com in order to view the landing page and sometimes pagewash takes forever to process the landing page.

Recently, there has been a new tool that allows me to view landing page without having the trouble of going over to pagewash or iphide to view the landing page.

If you go to worldproxy202.com, you can download a firefox toolbar that’s installed on firefox and you can simple paste the link location into the worldproxy address bar and wala! You can see the landing page almost instantly! Wonderful tool. The proxy server supports US, UK and Canada. These places are where all the affiliate offers are being located.

Exams coming in one month time. I had to stop whatever i am doing and let my campaign run on autopilot. Not bad to be earning money even while you are studying huh and not doing any work huh?

However, stats are declining and i’m earning lesser then what i used to be earning when i was really active launching campaigns and tracking my stats. The reason is probably because of competition. Competitor comes in and knock you out and take away your market share in that particular niche. Oh well, that’s how the game of PPC works.

I realise one thing if you want to create big profitable campaigns that are able to sustain on itself. That is you cannot afford to be lazy when it comes to setting up your campaigns initially. Create tightly grouped adgroup to generate the highest CTR and continually split test all your ads to make sure that you get the highest CTR.

This not only allows you to get high quality score from Google and Yahoo which in turn gives you cheaper clicks, it also allows you to stay ahead of your competitors.

Imagine building a campaigns that have 100s of adgroup with 20 tightly grouped keywords revelant to your ads and landing page, how high a quality score would you be getting as compared to someone who has only 20 adgroups and 100 keyword in each adgroup.

Of course, it would be super time consuming if you were to create 100 adgroups with 20 keywords. Therefore there are tools and software that can help you in building up these campaigns.

These 2 tools are mainly SpeedPPC or EfficientPPC.

I did up my campaigns without the help of any of these tools and what a fool i was. I had wasted so much time and effort which could have generated me much more income and help me stay ahead of my competitors while i am mugging for my exams.

Nevertheless, i will be getting myself SpeedPPC and will be playing with it during this time and going to launch my campaigns full force once my exams are over by the end of April and i’ll have a 3 months holiday to work full time into it and really ramp up my campaigns.

Recently, there has been a few good tools that’s out in the market for all PPC marketers to use. And the best things of all is that its totally free for all to use. There must be a reason behind why they are giving out all these tools free for everyone. Must have some backend profits to be made. But heck.. who cares if its free. Must make the best use out of it. Here goes:

1) Wordze Google Trend - Free Tool by Wordze to provide you with all the keyword searches under Google from Jan 2008 and have more then 119,200 keyword now and its increasing every single day. Allows to find out what are the popular keywords that’s being searched around the world so that you can identify what products to sell to the hunger market.

2) Offer Vault - This tool was previously only offered to members of Affiliate Radar but the owner has thus decided to let everyone have it for free. This tool is used to find affiliate offers from 25 affiliate networks. This will allow you to find the highest paid offer for the same campaigns and offers so that you can give yourself a instant payout on your earnings!

Why Free? I suppose the owner wants you to sign up for those networks that you have not signed up for and earned the referral commission for signing under his link. Instant residual income for him for the rest of his life as long as his referral remains an affiliate marketer.

3) Tracking202 Beta - Software that’s way better that affiliate radar and gives you detailed report of how have your keywords converted. How many clicks, how many conversion etc. Provides graphs and charts for your report. If you think affiliate radar is too expensive for you, US$97/month, go ahead and give tracking202 a shot. I have just signed up for the account and will be trying it out soon.

Why Free? There have been rumors saying that the owner actually has your keyword list for your campaigns as well as your landing page, he can easily steal your keyword list away and start his own campaigns and start profiting from your hardwork. Even though the owner claims he will not do that, but who knows. My advise is that if you are not a big time affiliate marketer like Amit from SuperAffiliateMindset or Paul from UberAffiliate , then it really doesn’t matter to you. No harming risking your keyword lists that’s might lose you money for something that’s worth at least US$97/month.

4) Efficient PPC - Works better then SpeedPPC, Cheaper then SpeedPPC. This tool is not free. It cost US$99 and US$19 every month. If not you can opt for a one time payment of US$347 and use the tool for as long as you are an affiliate marketer. Help you churns out campaigns faster then anything. Help you create templates situation for Yahoo and MSN for the campaigns you created for Google so that you can do your campaign once, and test it in all 3 search engine. Wonderful tool to help you save tons of time.

Just read a post by Amit from SuperAffiliateMindset.com that he shared with his readers some time back last year. Here’s what he wrote in a interview with another super affiliate Felix. Its a bit long but i strongly urge you to read this post…

Conversation with Felix:

I asked Felix how you deal with the following scenario:

You promote a new affiliate offer, get it profitable and strong. It’s making a killing, you optimize & expand it as much as you can, and then let it run on autopilot.

Everything is going fine the first couple of months, then you start to see a slight decline in sale and profits.

Okay, no big deal, probably just a slow month, right?

Then after 6 months of your campaign running on autopilot you realized that your profits have drop by 25%, 40%, or more. Sound familiar?

Felix said that you will see this steady decline in profit overtime in virtually every market you’re in! The fact is that there’s more competition entering in every niche, bid prices are going up. Also, ppc affiliates, and other advertisers are getting savvier and savvier.

Overtime this game will get more challenging NOT less.

So what’s the solution?

With his years of experience and expertise in affiliate marketing, here’s what Felix had to say: You need to accept the fact that profit margins will become thinner and thinner, and overcome this by launching affiliate offers at a faster rate.

Today you may be able to make a fortune with 4-5 solid & build up affiliate offers, 3 years from now you’re probably going to need 10-12 strong offers going to make the same net profit.

The bottom line is if you don’t launch affiliate offers FASTER than your existing affiliate offers are losing profitability, you’re in trouble.

Before you panic, here’s steps you can take to assure long term profitability of your business:

1. For most of you out there you’ve BARELY touched the surface of the niches you’re currently in. If this is the case, you need to get busy optimizing and expanding your current campaigns. Split test your landing pages, do keyword research, test new adcopy, etc, etc. The more optimized and build up your campaigns are, the more long term & stable your profits will be.
2. If you’re already having great success with affiliate marketing you need to start thinking about how you’re going to build a team and turn your one man show into a real company. With a team you’ll be able to launch, optimize, and build up more affiliate offers, at a faster rate. This way your companies bottom line continues to grow, even as your profit margins continue to shrink and more competition enters your markets.

Remember the average business in America has a profit margin of about 10%, expect that to be the case with affiliate marketing 5 years down the road from today.
Are you prepared for the future of affiliate marketing?

This is the exact same problem that i am facing now. Stronger competition from all over the world. Trying to have a share of the pie in this CPA industry. As suggested by Felix, the only way to beat these competitors is to have solid strong campaigns all running at auto-pilot in order to generate the same income you did a while ago.

So what’s the solution? You have to be fast in getting all these campaigns up. You have to be fast in optimising your campaigns for maximum ROI. You have to be fast in eliminating keywords that are losing you money.

Another super affiliate, Jonathan Volk , said that if you are not throwing up at least 5 campaigns a day, then you ain’t really serious in your internet business yet. Look at how fast people are moving nowadays. Scary? Yeah, it is.. But this is just part of the game.

Another factor to building a long term business not at the mercy of the search engines is to have a solid foundations of website that are build for the long term. I’m not saying fanciful and have all sorts of animation flying around. But at least, it must have all the requirements needed to make your website Google friendly. If you can pleased Google, you definitely have pleased Yahoo and MSN.

I reckon that to be able to lead a lifestyle of the super affiliate and make affiliate marketing my main source of income, i have to look long term instead of just trying to aim for quick bucks.

Last night, i redo my timetable for my school to insert in time slots for me to concentrate solely on my internet business and i would like to post it here for everyone to see as well as to remind myself of the commitment and goals that i have set for myself. Added in a 10 hour /week slot in my timetable. This should be the minimum amount of time spent per week working on my campaigns. Am planning to get some software like EfficientPPC and PPCRiches to help me launched my campaigns faster and better.

Time to get serious on building a long term business. I’m sick of looking at super affiliates’ profit and go wow…

Mindset is really very important when it comes to doing any business. With the correct mindset, no obstacles are big enough to block you or stop you from succeeding.  In the course of starting your business. I’m sure a lot obstacles will surfaced and stop you from succeeding. If not, the whole world will be successful already isn’t it. But what separates the successful and the unsuccessful is only about what they know or do not know. But its about their mindset. About what they really want. About how much they want to achieve success.

After 2 months of doing CPA, i had my first bump on my head. My commission dipped. Campaigns that were earning me big bucks last month suddenly became non-profitable. I had not done anything to my campaigns but it just went down. All the way down.

I think this month i’m only on track to nett 1k+

Discouraged? Yes… Disappointed? Yes… Planning to give up? Hell NO…

So what’s my plan now?

• Revise what has happen to my campaigns and make changes to it.
• Find out what i have not done properly and correct it.
• Revise my methods of launching a campaign and start launching them again.
• Create websites that are more google friendly so that i won’t have any problems in the long run.
• I should start working out my timetable to mange between my school work, my internet business and my girlfriend. Gotta start forcing myself and get out of my comfort zone soon man..

Keep your goals in mind. Because that’s the most important factor to success… Remember why you need to succeed and you will… My short term goal now is to earn enough money to bring my girlfriend for a holiday during our school holidays coming up in May/June and where i go depends on how much i can earned within this few months.  I have to pull up my socks and start bucking up..

PS: I just got my commission check from Primary Ads for Dec 2007. Gonna be my last check from them. After that i’ll be on wire transfer for payment.

Apparently Yahoo’s screwing around with all the Internet Marketer around now. They recently just changed their way of indexing and crawling their website and now they are taking years to approve ads. My ads are pending for a few days now and this has greatly affected my commissions this month.

Hopefully they get this cleared up soon and start approving everyone’s ads. I suppose now is the time for me to explore further into the Big G for traffic as i have not touched on Google at all ever since i got started with CPA.

The Big G is definitely is a tougher search engine to tackle but i suppose its only a matter of time before i move onto the Big G. Wanted to make sure i was earning at least 500/day before i go into Google but i guess its time now.

Time to dig up all my books on Adwords and start digesting them these few days.

4 weeks into school and i’m kinda lagging behind in my school work now.I hate studying! Rather use the time i have to focus on my internet business. I’m earning more than any fresh graduates now anyway. But getting a degree has been my mom’s wish and i have to fulfil it no matter what. So what to do, i have to study.. Boringggg..
I had my best day yesterday ever for the past 66 days since i started my internet business. ( I started my first campaign on the 25th November) I broke the $300 mark. Haven reach my goal of $333.33/day so that in a month i’ll gross my first 5 figure. But i’m reaching there soon. Slowly inching my way towards my goal. Here’s a screenshoot of my earnings yesterday.

Now what i have to do is to try to maintain it to at least $300/day first and then slowly try to reach to maintain $333.33/day. Guess when mini explosion part 4 comes, it’ll be $400/day. I have a feeling it’ll come soon. If i continue to work hard on my campaigns to optimise it and continue to do up more campaigns.
