3 Invisible Factors To Success…

December 27, 2007 By: Ivan Ong Category: Personal Development, Motivation No Comments →

Have you ever wondered what’s stopping you from attaining success?

Its not the skills that you did not learn. Its not about the knowledge that you did not have. Its not about the brain that you have or the technology that you have or the environment that you live in.

I did not know about this as well. I always thought it was all the above mentioned that’s stopping me from attaining success.

But after hearing an audio from Stephen Pierce about the 3 factors to success, i realised that i had the wrong thinking along. It kept me thinking about what i have been doing along and i was moving on the wrong track.

I had personally talked to Stephen Pierce and he is a man of knowledge about the latest internet marketing updates and he is a very highly sought after internet marketing coach in the world.

(i’m on the right if you guys don’t know!)

Decided to add the audio clip here for all of you to hear as well so that you too can learn something from this short 11mins audio clip from Stephen Pierce. Enjoy!

Leave some comments to tell me how you feel after hearing this audio. :)

Going Crazy With Keywords Research

December 06, 2007 By: Ivan Ong Category: CPA Affilates, Personal Development, Motivation, Internet Marketing No Comments →

Been going on madly on CPA ever since exams ended on the 22nd Nov. Been making website (http://www.shopforfreebie.com) & (http://www.BabiesEssentials.com)  and testing out offers after offers and i realised that the way i did keyword research was wrong. I wasn’t thinking out of the box, instead i did what most people would be doing which is pulling out keywords from keyword research tools. In this case, i would have highly competitve keywords and definitely the cost per clicks are much much higher.

Keywords are indeed what separates the Super Affiliates from the average affiliates or even the lousy affiliate. I will continue to figure out and devise a method on my own regarding how i should do up a profitable keyword list from all the free and available tools that i currently have.

CPA offers are indeed a tough nut to crack and there’s definitely tons to learn. The mindset especially is the most important factor in this business. Firstly, you have to be patient as the results do not come in early and you might even lose money in the beginning. But its proven that this business model works and i have seen people who are easily earning 5 figure sum every month from CPA. Seondly, there is a need for alot of discipline as you have to diligently do up your statistic for your campaigns and for me now it’s taking around 20-30mins each day. I suppose as time pass and you are more familiar with the spreadsheet. Things will get better.

“You Will Never Fail If You Don’t Give Up!” -Robert G Allen

This quote from Robert Allen really impacted me a lot on my thinking and mindset. Everytime i feel like giving up because i am not seeing any results, this quote will appear in my head and i’ll tell myself i will not fail because i won’t give up.

Its how much you want it. I want my success badly. How about you?

Think about it…

Finally, my exams are over!!

November 22, 2007 By: Ivan Ong Category: Personal Development No Comments →

Finally, after a long waited weeks and even months, my exams are finally over! Now i can finally concentate back onto Internet Marketing full force with the newly CPA niche that i have found out from Benjamin.

Now i shall list down what am i going to do for this holiday and what i plan to achieve.

1) I plan to revamp this whole new site to a blog where i will blog frequently about the US market as i am trading in the US market now in Options Trading

2) I also plan to blog about the whole process of how i try to make money online through CPA offers and on the way give valuable tips and lessons that i expect to encounter along the way.

3) Some random post about my life with my girlfriend, Soo Chin, and some happy moments that we share.

4) I plan to get my Alexa ranking back to its old form as it has seriously dropped alot since i last updated this blog. Sorry blog for neglecting you. I’m back!

Wait for the next revamp and a whole new look that i will be giving to my blog. It will mainly consist of the above mentioned 3 content. Hopefully i can get it done up soon and i will also be learning how to use Photoshop to create a header graphics of my own. Stay tuned for more updates. Once i get it done up, i will get back all the traffic that i lost previously! :)

Till then!

The Secret Of The Market

May 14, 2007 By: Ivan Ong Category: Personal Development, Internet Marketing 2 Comments →

I just went for Dr Clemen Chiang Option Trading Seminar at Freely Business School organised by Success Resources and amazingly about 150 people attended the seminar. In case you guys don’t know who is Clemen Chiang, you can read more about him here.

He shared something called the Triple H Strategy to Success in Options Trading. I thought it was a good one as the three H can be applied to anywhere in whatever you are doing and i’ll like to share it with my readers here.

First H - Hardworking

There is no shortcut to success. Every formula to success would definitely require this trait in order to excel in whatever you are doing. There is nobody in this world that became successful by chance. Michael Jordan didn’t become the World No 1 basketball player by chance. It was by his determination and hardwork that he managed to become world no 1. The same applies for World Class Internet Marketer like Ewen Chia and Stephen Pierce. They took painfully long hours sitting in front of their computer researching and studying how to better effectively earn more money through the Internet. Have you been in the hardwork yet? If you think you hasn’t, then don’t complain! If you think you have, obviously it’s not enough. Work harder! Not only that, you have to work smart as well.

Second H - Humility

No matter what you have done previously, be it a very successful businessman or a very talented sports player. When you are learning something new, you are a baby. Forget whatever you have learned or know about the industry and learn from like you know nothing. You have to forget about your pride and accept the people who’s guiding you to be your teacher and mentor. Give him the due respect and be humble.

Third H - Good Heart

You need to know your intentions of why you want to be successful and earn so much money. It has to be a good reason why you want so much money for. You need to have a good heart in order to be able to attract money into your pocket for the market knows the money is in safe hands. Use the money you have earned to help the needy and you’ll earn more then what you have given out.

How To Set Goals You Can Achieve

May 05, 2007 By: Ivan Ong Category: Personal Development No Comments →

A major obstacle that prevents people from enjoyably achieving their goals is that they set their goals incorrectly to begin with.  This problem occurs because people don’t understand the nature of time well enough.  When people consider a particular goal, they often worry about the time commitment. Eg, If i start a business now, its going to take me 2 years before i start to make profit. If i start to lose weight now, i’ll take 6 months to be slim again. Such thoughts make you demoralised and make you unmotivated, but more importantly they reveal a total misunderstanding of the nature of time.

We’re are unwilling to set goals that will take a very long time to achieve.  Who wants to slog and slog for years in order to achieve something that might only happen?  Most of us simply don’t have the discipline to do that, even if there is a pot of gold at the end of the path.  Discipline is not the real issue i feel.  The issue is a misunderstanding of time.

People tend to think of time as a resouce like money.  How should i spend my day? Where do you want to spend your next vacation?  How will you spend the rest of the year?  Time is money, a disposable resource.

Have You Watched The Secret?

April 17, 2007 By: Ivan Ong Category: Personal Development 10 Comments →

Recently i have been talking on skype with this friend of mine from Sweden. He’s a very motivated and positive person who loves learning and his knowledge of books are awsome! He recommended me to watch this movie call The Secret which is regarding the Law Of Attraction! The link that he gave me was http://thesecret.tv . I realise that i had to pay US$4.95 before i was able to view the movie online or to purchase the dvd which i didn’t want to because i wasnt willing to fork out the money.

Here’s the Brief Synopsis of what the movie is all about:

A number of exceptional men and women discovered The Secret, and went on to become known as the greatest people who ever lived. Among them: Plato, Leonardo, Galileo, Napoleon, Hugo, Beethoven, Lincoln, Edison, Einstein and Carnegie, to name but a few.

The Secret reveals amazing real life stories and testimonials of regular people who have changed their lives in profound ways. By applying The Secret they present instances of eradicating disease, acquiring massive wealth, overcoming obstacles and achieving what many would regard as impossible.

The Secret reveals how to apply this powerful knowledge to your life in every area from health to wealth, to success and relationships.

The Secret is everything you have dreamed of… and is beyond your wildest dreams.

My Simple Success Secrets

April 11, 2007 By: Ivan Ong Category: Personal Development No Comments →

I promised previously from Desmond’s blog and got tagged by Calvin that i will blog about my simple success secrets and here it goes.
Honestly i do not have a Success Plan and that is why i am progressing quite slowly in my area of internet marketing.
I guess this post will be a wake up call for me to really plan what i want to achieve and work towards my goals.

Click on the picture to for an audio mp3 by Brian Tracy that i am giving away free!

I just read this Book by Brian Tracy on Million Dollar Habits and honestly i was overwhelmed by the infomations that he gives his readers. He studied about the psychology of human’s thoughts and it was so true. Many a times, we never achieve what we set to do because we did not even attempt to achieve it! The reasons for this phoenomeon can be classified under the following reasons.

People’s Number One Fear - Public Speaking

April 10, 2007 By: Ivan Ong Category: Personal Development 6 Comments →

I was at Sky Quest Com with Desmond and Kai Rong to do our first practise of the BOM ( Business Opportunity Meeting)  Presentation and realise that we were very noob(newbie) and our presentation was literally like shit! But i guess its our first time trying so its forgivable and we reckon that by practising we can only get better and better!

 (we are like him now)

Here’s what i realise was our problem during the presentation:

  1. We didn’t know our content well enough.

Sure enough, this is the No 1 killer to why we didn’t present well. Not knowing the content well enough is like a running head-on straight into the wall! Killing yourself instantly. Serve us right for not having enough preparation prior to our presentation. No 1 thing that we must change and buck up! Know our content well and know it at the back of your head! Make sure we can speak even without any slides or present it backwards! Only then do i think we’ll be ready to present it to the world.

    2.  We didn’t manage to capture the audiences’ attention.

The presentator didn’t make enough eye contact with the audiences and thus we were unable to engage the audiences. Most of the time we were either looking at the powerpoint or staring at the ceiling. (Thinking about what we should say) In the end, it stills boils down to not knowing our content well enough. Remember! Content is king!

   3.  Our movement and motions were stiff and unnatural.

We were moving around unnaturally and our actions were stiff like a log! To the presentator i guess it wasn’t much of a concern but i guess actions and gesture matters alot to the audience. They might get irritated with the little little action that we think might not be important or even be noticed. But again, with practise and more confident, our movements and actions will definitely improve! I’m sure of that!

   4.  Our purpose in presenting was wrong!

Many a times when people go on stage for a presentation, they didn’t have a clear purpose of what they were presenting or what this presentation is for. As a result, the one that is operating within them unconsciously causes a whole lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. In our case, we didn’t have the purpose right in our mind. As least for me, my purpose then when i was presenting was that i was practising and it was my first try and thus its okie if i didn’t do well. Which now i realise what i was thinking at that point of time was all wrong! The purpose of the presentation was to let the audience know what business are we in and how it will benefit them and change their life. Not practising! One very major error i realise.

Anyway, i guess we did really fine in taking the first step to practise our presentation skills. Only then will we realise how lousy we were and only through practise can we become better and speak confidently. :) Hopefully after more practising, the 3 of us can improve and become a better person in every aspect of our lives!

Thumbs up to the 3 budding musketeers that wish to be successful one day!

A Little Humour to brighten up your day!

“According to most studies, people’s Number One Fear is Public Speaking. Number Two Fear is death. Death is Number Two!!!

Now, this means, to the average person, if you have to go to a funeral, you’re better off in the casket than doing the speech!!”

Oh no Oh no! This sounds so wrong.

I have found a link which i think can improve on our public speaking skills. Click here to find out how you can conquer Public Speaking! Enjoy your read!

The Importance of Goal Setting

April 05, 2007 By: Ivan Ong Category: Personal Development 1 Comment →

All of us know the importance of setting goals. We know that before
we can achieve anything, we must first know what we want. It is
said that everything is created twice. Only when we first create
something in our mind, will it then manifest into our physical
reality.

Goals give us a definite direction with which to focus our energies
on.Without goals, our decisions and actions will not be directed
and we will end up going nowhere. It is when we stay focused on a
specific goal, develop an effective strategy and keep taking
action, we will eventually realize it.

Then, why is it that so many people do not achieve their goals? Why
have so many people ‘tried’ goal setting but it has not worked for
them? The answer is because they have not set goals in an effective
way.

It Doesn’t Matter

March 28, 2007 By: Ivan Ong Category: Personal Development 3 Comments →

So what if this guy has 10,000 Subscribers?
So what if this guy made $10,000 per month?
These guys are all hype.
These guys totally screwed me up.
This is a whole bunch of B.S.
I hate this guru, that guru. They are all terrible
because they are just looking for money.
