Getting That 10/10 Quality Score

I have several questions regarding how do i actually create a landing page that can avoid the Google slap etc.. Here’s a printscreen of my Google Adwords account and i’m going to share with you how i manage to get 10/10 for all my keywords for the adgroup…

According to my understand of Google Adwords Quality Score system, Google gives higher quality score to websites and landing pages that is more revelant to the visitors and quality score is calculated in many ways which include your domain name, domain name age, your landing page revelancy, CTR and also the ads that you write to the keywords…

Nobody actually understand what this Quality Score thingy means but its Google way of accessing your advertisements and this is the thing that will make or break you. From my experience of how i manage to get this 10/10 quality score, i have learn a few things about quality score.

1) Your account history is really important in helping you get that 10/10 quality score… Previously when i ran the same keywords on a new adwords account, i was only able to get a 7/10 max QS. It was only after a few weeks of optimising my campaigns and paying huge amount of money to Google before they started to increase my QS to 8/10 and eventually now to 10/10…

2) Your CTR… I have been optimising this campaign for more then 3 weeks now and i have been tweaking my ads and ad position to find the optimum position and ad in order to be profitable… my CTR increase from 1% to 12% after testing and adjusting my ads once a day.. I would test only one variable at a time and to remove the one that is low converting and add another new ad in to test the ads. Increasing my CTR has definitely helped me to increase my QS because Google sees that my ads is very popular and therefore is naturally revelant to the keywords.

3) Your landing page… Building a site that helps Google to give you a ok quality score is important when it comes to PPC marketing. Gone are the days where everyone can do direct linking after the 1 URL rule came out.. Therfore you need you build yourself a landing page/website in order for you to be in the game.. Especially when landing page has been proven to increase conversion rate.

Here’s how i build my landing page and never got slap… I would create my landing page on the front index page and on the index page, i would put certain links that is a must… A privacy page, a contact us page, about us page, terms page, sitemap and articles

I will give you an example of a site which i have done up last time to be able to advertise on Google without having to worry that they will reject me. www.Hydrogen-Car-Fuel.com

Take a look at the tab at the bottom the page and try to learn from this… It is okie to do up a article site with lots of duplicated content from Ezine Articles because Google adwords will not take into account duplicated content for advertising… But your domain will not be indexed for it.

Install a Google sitemap so that Google spider can tracked all your links properly.
