My Story Chapter 2: The Mr No Leverage Man

So i went to look for opportunities and tried almost anything. From MLM to HYIP to forex trading to options trading and even online casino using the old form e-gold currency. Everything was a total flop.

Instead of making money, i lost a lot of money trying out all these opportunities. It was demoralizing and depressing. But being the motivated me, i didn’t give up and went on to look for more opportunities and that’s when i saw a newspaper ad in the local Singapore papers with the headline that looks like this.

It looks kinda cheesy and scammy but i went for the seminar anyway. It was a adsense seminar whereby Dr Mike Woo Ming spoke about how to make money with just people clicking on your Google Ads. He eventually pitched his workshop which cost $5000.

Of course, i didn’t have the money and i left the place. That was my first interaction with Internet Marketing and making money online. It was really quite an eye opener.

Fast forward a few years later, i eventually ventured into Internet Marketing and failed a couple of times too! I tried adsense and article marketing and tried promoting clickbank products but it all failed miserably. Just when i almost gave up, my friend introduced me to this course about CPA marketing using paid traffic. It was by Gauher Chaudhry and the course is call Pay Per Click Formula.

I got myself a copy and started my own foray into the world of CPA business.

I was making good income, my profits went from a couple hundreds a month and very quickly went up to $10,000 a month in just 9 months after i started on my CPA journey.

I continue to work hard on my business and spend most of my time on my computer. Most days i could spend up to 10-14 hours a day just sitting down on my computer.

Oh boy, it was really tough work. I spend so much time on my computer that i eventually neglected many aspect of my life. I neglected my social life and i didn’t participate in much activity in my school. I exercised a lot lesser and this resulted in me gaining weight over the last few years.

My back got strained real badly and i ended up with a chronic backache which comes back to haunt me whenever i sit on my chair for too long hours. I consulted chinese physician and underwent treatment for a couple of months before it became better. My business got affected eventually.

Even though i was earning good income from the internet, it wasn’t what i was looking for. As a result of the income that i got, i sacrifice many things in my life.

I was a unhappy man. Instead of having a business to free up my time, i created a high paying job for myself to be in. I created my own ‘rat race’ and jumped into it myself.

Even though i know that leverage is important in your business. I didn’t totally understand what that means. i didn’t understand how i could apply it to my business. I tried to learn and do everything myself and it was the biggest mistake of my life.

I called myself the Mr No Leverage Man.
