5 Essentials Plugins I Use Personally

Decided to post some content on my blog and discuss about the plugins that i absolutely love and i have them installed on ALL my wordpress blogs… These plugins are a must to install in my opinion..

Plugins are add ons that you can install on your blogs so that your blog can have additional functions and most importantly, it will help your blog perform better and even rank faster than the usual custom wordpress blogs.

So here you go:

  1. XML Sitemap – This plugin allows you to rebuild your blog sitemap and then start pinging all the major search engines to let them know that you have updated your blog and get your robots to come spider my website for new content. This helps your blog get noticed faster by the search engine which results in faster indexing of your contents and better ranking in the SERP.
  2. Ultimate GA – This plugin works perfectly for Google Analytics. Not sure about html coding or not sure where you should paste your Analytics code? Worried that your code might not cover all your pages and you are not tracking some of the traffic or double tracking your traffic? Simply paste your Analytics account ID into Ultimate GA and you are good to go… Ultimate GA will then paste all your codes on all the pages of your website so you’ll never mis track or over track.. :)
  3. Platinum SEO – This plugin helps to edit your title tag and your description tag and meta tags so that they will contain your main keywords. We all know that these 3 tags are very important for onsite SEO purposes so this plugin will help you to SEO optimize your website fully.
  4. Statscounter – This plugin works the same as Google Analytics but this is for statscounter instead of Google Analytics which is also good for tracking web traffic purposes.
  5. WP Super Cache – You only have 5-7 seconds to attract your visitors attention when they come to your website. Imagine your website taking more then 7 seconds to load.. How much visitors would you have lost? WP Super Cache will allow you to build your blog on a static page on your visitors computer so your website loads many many times faster than it actually should and you will get to retain more visitors.

There’s actually still more plugins that i use but these are the 5 main ones that i definitely must use… ha.. I have inserted the links to each of the plugins so if you want it, just click on the links and download them…  if you need statscounter one, just to go www.statscounter.com, apply for an account and download it from there… :)

Hey Ivan,

I do use Google XML Sitemap and I think its a must to have as it really help in your blog to have a proper layout setup for google bots to spider through. On the other hand, for the SEO part I choose All in One SEO Pack instead but I think its abt the same as what you suggest.

Do try out this plugin called “What Would Seth Godin Do” if you want to engage your readers. Hope tat helps.

Cheers
Javier

What about contact-me plugin? Otherwise your readers (like me) don’t know how to spam you.
