My Goals

I believe having a clear and focus goals are what’s necessary for just anyone to be successful as this can be the main driving force towards motivating me to continue to strive for what my dreams are.

By listing down and showing to everyone just how and what i am doing to achieve, its like a promise to you ( my readers) that i will do whatever i can to achieve it and be sure that i will be helping you along the way to cut short your learning curve should you want to learn how to make money as well as to trade online. :)

Goals In Internet Marketing

1. By 5th June 2008 (My birthday),
a. have to be familiar with all Google & MSN & Yahoo
b. Earn at least US$1k/mth net on a monthly basis
c. Able to track efficiency and with discipline on a daily basis
d. Understand the rule of the loner method and creating a website that are Google Friendly

2. From 5th June 2008 to graduation in 2010,
a. Familiar with all PPC search engine ( Yahoo, MSN, Google, 7search etc)
b. Earn at least US$5k/mth net every month
c. Able to apply the workhorse method and build a long term relationship with list by providing them with free offers and tips.
d. Build a list of at least 10,000 by 2010.
e. Attend Affiliate Summit In Vegas! (Updated 16 Jan 2008)

2. From 5th June 2008 to graduation in 2010,
a. Account must have at least US$40,000 by 2010
b. Profits should have at least 5-10%/mth

3. From 2010 and beyond,
a. Account to hit a capital of US$150,000 by 2012
b. Monthly withdrawal of US$15,000 as salary
c. To drive my favourite BMW!

Be sure that i will definitely be updating on my progress in this blog and whether i can hit my goals. These are reasonable goals that i set for myself and be sure i will reach my goals or even exceeds my goals! Stay tuned!

Goals Updates:

aaahhhhh… its been a long time since i last saw the goals that i set for myself when this blog was born… Its been almost 2 years now and indeed i have progress a lot in terms of profits and income. I have crossed out the goals that i have already achieved and i’m going to post new goals in order to reach new heights. :)

New Goal for Year 2009

1) To reach a net profit of US$40,000 by the end of 2009

2) To purchase my first property on my 24th Birthday (I just have enough for down payment for a condo only)

3) To purchase my first car upon graduation (Audi A4 or Audi TT)

4) Set up my own Pte Ltd company (Doing that in June 2009 – Affiliatepedia Pte Ltd will be the name of my company)

5) Rent a office room upon graduate to work full time online

6) To be able to travel the world slowly but surely

7) To own a Amex Black Card ( the one which Amit, Harris and Amish has)

Hopefully the next time i review my goals again, all 7 of the above would have been crossed out.. :)

Goals For 2010

In 2010, i want to:

  1. Hit a monthly income of US$50,000 from my online business. I am aiming for US$10,000 from SEO traffic and US$40,000 from paid traffic. My highest in 2009 is only US$29,000+ so i still have a long way to go for the $50,000 target
  2. Hit US$10,000 for the SEO project that i am currently working with Soo Chin so that she will be able to quit her day job and work full time on Affiliate Marketing with me.
  3. Involve Soo Chin and rent a office together so we can work hard together in our own office and decorate it as nicely as possible.
  4. Lose weight for sure! I have put on a lot of weight this year and my resolution in the year 2010 is to lose 10KG!! I intend to do this via regular regular exercising regime and making sure that i exercise at least 4 times a week. Must be DISCIPLINE to do this. My friend Alex Yeo could go swim or run everyday to keep fit and i’ll make sure i’ll model after him and do the same too!
  5. Purchase my own car (what model i am still undecided)
  6. Earning and Saving enough money to purchase my own house (aiming at CityLights at Lavender which cost SGD$950,000)
  7. Continue to work on my dad business and hopefully to get more contracts for the business and get more money for my family.
  8. Aiming to attend Affiliate Summit West 2011 in Jan.
  9. Praying that my family health and safety remains in tip top condition.
  10. Go for more holidays in the year 2010!

Ha this page is getting longer and longer as time past. I took a look at my previous goal and have achieved quite a number of them actually. :) But there are still some goal which i have not yet achieved. Will continue to strive harder!

Goals for 2011

In 2011, i MUST achieve:

  1. Hit a monthly profit of US$150,000 per month. That would equate to US$3000 profit per day for 30 days in a month. I am quite confident that i will hit that amount of income in 2011. Time to grow up and look at the bigger picture of the business and really scale it up big time online.
  2. Aim for an total annual profit of US$500,000 for the year 2011.
  3. Build a list of 250,000-500,000 in 2011.
  4. Achieve at least a 20% ROI on my total financial investments. Right now, i’m going into Gold/Silver investing which i believe will be the next golden opportunity of your lifetime. I have done a lot of research and have solid reasons and belief that precious metals is going to blow through the roof.
  5. Aim to get my 2nd property for passive rental income! My ultimate aim is to have enough property in 10 years time and generate enough passive income so that i can be financially free by age 35!
  6. Get my dream car of Mercz SLK200/280 or BMW 325 Convertible.
  7. Oh yeah… losing weight.. this seems like the only goal which i cant seem to be achieve to achieve. :( In 2011, i SWEAR i will lose at least 5kg off my waist.
  8. Visit Japan for our annual holidays and to tour South East Asia in 2011.
  9. Propose to my girlfriend in 2011

Guess that’s about it. I achieve 7 out of 10 goals for 2010 and i hope i’ll be able to strike off all the 9 goals for 2011.
